$35 fee for 5 day early program

I feel tricked and lied to by Turbo Tax with this program. Last year the IRS deposited my refund directly to my bank account . Now it will go to their bank first, then on to mine so they can withdraw the $35. When I realized that would happen I went back and tried to undo it but it appears the only two options is to have it deposited to credit karma or to their bank first. Very confusing, and I'm sure it was made that way so people like me eventually give up and just go on with it.

I would be interested in hearing from a Turbo Tax employee or someone familiar with the program. What did I miss? Why couldn't I go back and remove that choice and just have the IRS send it directly to me? I'm angry and unlikely to use the service again even though I have used them for about 10 years.
