2020 Amended Returns

I just filed amendments to my 2020 Federal and State returns; however the summary says only the Federal was filed.  I also received confirmation from IRS that it was received - nothing from the State (California).  Does this mean I must mail in the State amended return? Wasn't it e-filed when I e-filed the Federal?  I thought they are e-filed together as they were when I filed my tax return (before filing the amended returns).

No, California does not accept Efile for Amended Returns.

They have to be printed and mailed.
