After filing my 2019 taxes I realized that I left out a portion of my income. Do I complete an amendment immediately or wait to hear from the IRS?

Yes I received the answer to my question.

I received a notice that we had overpaid our 2019 Federal tax.  We signed the form agreeing to the amount owed us. We likely need to file an amendment with the Virginia tax people.  Does Turbo tax cover amendments without further charges?
