1095A information doesn't go to 8962 for 2022 return

1095 info doesn't  reflect on 8962 in 2022.  So I filed amended return.  But it won't let me change 8962.  After talking to the expert on the phone and shared the screens for two hours, she told me that I have to file 1040-X.

She said it is not software issue, maybe this is something I have file 1040-X and 8962 manually.  This is very strange.

1095A information doesn't go to 8962 for 2022 return

We'd love to help you complete your tax return, but need more information. Can you please clarify your question?

Did you already file your 2022 tax return?

I'm not clear why filing an amendment would fix this for you.

Is your filing status Married Filing Separately?

Do you have numbers in Column B and C on your 1095-A?

Yes, there are information under A and B.  Filing status is Married.  2023 and 2022 had approximately same information, but didn't have the problem with 8962 for 2023. I shared the screen with the tax expert for two hours and she couldn't see the reason as to why blank information for Line 12-23 on 8962 for 2022. She advise me to go to local CPA firm to file 1040-X manually.  I will have to file Amended in order to some PTC for 2022.  Thank you.

1095A information doesn't go to 8962 for 2022 return

Sorry, I forgot to mention the expert helped me on the phone told me to go to the local CPA firm to file 1040X manually.   This is very strange that I had to go to local CPA firm to prepare 1040-X manually.  She doesn't know why 1095-A information under Column A and B doesn't transfer to form 8962.  We couldn't even override to add numbers manually for line 12-23 or line 11 on 8962.

I don't mind to pay Turbotax for someone can help me to resolve this problem.

Yes, thank you for the clarification. If you  don't qualify for the Premium Tax Credit (PTC) and you didn't get an advance on the credit, the program won't fill in Part II of Form 8962.

If you check line 5 of Form 8962, the percentage must be at least 100%, but no more than 401%.

Since your column C is blank, you didn't get an advance on the credit.

So, I 'm thinking Part II is blank because you didn't qualify for the PTC and you didn't get an advance (column C).

Line 5 of Part 1 is 0% just like 2023.  I shared the screen with Turbotax helpline.  This tax expert from Turbotax  couldn't figure out why all the information on 1095 didn't go to part 11 line 11 or line 12-23.  She asked me to override and enter the information manually on 8962 without any luck.  She finally told me to go to the local CPA to file manually 1040-X to correct 8962.  This is strange that Turbox can't figure out!  Thanks.

1095A information doesn't go to 8962 for 2022 return

You do not need to enter the form 1095A information in your tax return for 2023 and you do not need to amend your 2022 tax return to include the form 1095A.   The form 1095A information is entered to generate a form 8962.  You only need to file a form 8962 if you are claiming a Premium Tax Credit (PTC) or you or someone in your tax family (on your tax return) received Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTC).  See page 2  "Who needs to file" in the Form 8962 Instructions.

Since line 5 is not at least 100% or less than 401% and you do not qualify for an exception (page 8, Form 8962 Instructions) you are not eligible for a PTC.  See pages 2-3, Form 8962 Instructions "Who can take PTC."

Further, since there are zeros in column C on your 1095A, no APTC was paid which disqualifies you from PTC and the exception for household income less than 100%.

You should delete all 1095A entries in the "Medical" topic and delete any forms 1095A and forms 8962 started in your returns.  Below are the steps to delete a form in TurboTax online products.

1. Select "Tax Tools" in the left hand menu
2. Select "Tools"
3. Select "Delete a Form"
4. Find the form 8962 and any 1095As
5. "Delete"
6. "Confirm Deletion"

1095A information doesn't go to 8962 for 2022 return

I can take PTC since I am qualified all income requirements(line 5 of part 1).  8962 for 2023 turns out  good but 2022  shows blank .  2022 pretty much had the same information as 2023.  Why Turbotax help center told me to go to a local CPA firm since she doesn't know when we shared screens. Thank you very much.
