Question

1095 A zeros?

Hello Intuit community:

Appreciate help with one question: while the Turbotax is running a check through my Fed tax, it always want me to correct the "0.00" on my 1095A form (SLCLP section and others), which I entered exactly as the form I received, which included some Zeros and I had to manually bypass this step. I double checked the form I entered on Turbotax matched with my 1095A form, why it still gave me that step for me to correct the "0.00s"? Which I have no other option to enter otherwise, thank you so much!

You should delete the $0 entry and leave it blank. That may resolve your issue.

The software does not like zeros with 1095A.  If your 1095A has zeros leave those spaces blank in the software.

blame Turbotax. It could easily put a warning on the screen that says if any box in columns A, B, or C is zero leave it blank. How hard would this be? we get hundreds of inquiries every year about this issue. You have to leave those boxes with a zero blank.
