I amended my 2020 1040 and now the 1040X has missing information. This is affecting my financial aid now and I can’t sign up for classes. I can’t get connected to a representative to help with this…. Any ideas anyone?

Which TurboTax program did you use? What information is missing, exactly?

You can get a free transcript from the IRS site below.

The AGI is missing. I will try to contact the IRS. Thank you!

Have you tried requesting a copy of your tax transcript from the IRS? The following TurboTax help article provides instructions: How do I get a copy of my tax return or transcript from the IRS?

For a list of transcript types and the information, each provides, please see Transcript Types on the IRS website.

It seems like you are only able to request a copy of the 1040 and not the 1040x on the IRS site.  This is all very frustrating because I can’t talk to an actual person, all I’ve been able to do is get automated systems and they aren’t able to help or connect me to a live person. This is what this world has come to though and it’s complete BS if you ask me. We are relying on computers to do the job… well what about when they can’t do the job? Ugh, thanks so much turbotax, I will never use you again!!

you're dealing with the IRS and its obsolete computer systems.

Your transcript always shows amounts that you originally filed.
