I accidently left of putting an" x "in box that my mortgage was refinanced in 2007 on my 2018 return.
I refiled an amended form on Turbo Tax and put in the mortgage information left off on the return. By turbo calculation I could claim all the interest. The 1040X form acknowledged that I overpaid taxes and received credit for $807 but because I underpaid the subsidy by $5 on the Affordable Care insurance I owed $5. So in 2019 I received a refund of $802. The 1040X form for filing instructed me to send in $5 due to Affordable Care underpayment.. The IRS already received the $5 with just refunding me $802. In that putting the correct data and the determination all my mortgage interest can be used do I need to even file the 1040X with the IRS? I definitely don't owe the $5.

In your situation there is no change so filing the X is not needed.
Thanks that was my thought
