Question

1040 for research

So, I filed with The I.R.S. already, and it was approved. However, I need a 1040 with only one source of income, simply for my own research purposes. I got a "subtotal" screen of the proposed refund I would receive before the other source of income was factored in, but am I able to obtain a 1040?  Again, not to refile, but simply for research. Thanks in advance.

Here is a Form 1040 that you can print and keep for your records.

Thank you for the reply, but please allow me to clarify. I need to go through the initial steps of TurboTax, and just enter one source of income, and have the fields of the 1040 filled out. This is not for refiling. Thanks again for your assistance.

I hope you are not playing around in your actual Online account or you will overwrite your actual return.  You would need to use a different online account or the Desktop program to do another return.  If you use the Online version you would have to pay any fees again to print.

The Online version is only good for 1 return. But you can use the same email address for 5 accounts. To do another return you have to set up a new account and new user name and pay any fees again. That's why it's better to use the Desktop CD/Download program. The Desktop program can do more than 1 return and efile 5 for free.
