Following info I found online, I used the IRS non-filer page to submit my bank info in hopes of triggering my COVID check to be direct deposited. When trying to e-file my full 2019 taxes I was given an error message stating that I had already filed with my SS number. Will I likely need to submit an amended return to repair the simple 1040 or will it eventually clear allowing me to e-file? Any help you might have would be greatly appreciated.

If you submitted the non-filer form, it was processed by the IRS as an original filed return. Any subsequent filing cannot be filed electronically; it has to be mailed in. If you file your return with a Form 1040X in order to rectify this, it will be processed like an amended return.
