While I was working on my 2024 tax return I saved PDF files, but the
battery died before I could save the 2024.tax file. After charging the
computer, no file was found to recover. Can I open from PDF?
I hired a tax expert frim TurboTax and he told me to have my taxes done
by a local tax preparer. I went to H&R Block and it cost me over $500. I
would at least like the cost of my TurboTax product (home and business).
I have upgraded my computer many times since 2009 so I no longer have
the software installed or the CD. I cleared out paper copies of all
returns over 10 years old.
