did you enter overtime in box 14 - either gross or the portion exempt and then complete section XI of the W-2?

section xi must be completed. With online it will start with the page that says tell us about your overtime for the w-2.the deduction should appear in schedule 1-A part III but you don’t get it if your modified adjusted gross income from Part 1 is $150,000 or more

There is no overtime box on a 2025 W-2. Where exactly is the overtime on the W-2? How do you know it's overtime? How is it labeled?

Where did you enter the overtime in TurboTax? If you entered it in box 14, what are the description or code and category? Or did you check the Overtime box on the "other situations" screen after you entered your W-2, and then enter the amount in the series of overtime questions after that?

What is the exact message from TurboTax, word for word? When and where does it say it: right after you enter the overtime? in Smart Check? somewhere else?
