You cannot.

If you or a dependent that you are entitled to claim has already been claimed by another taxpayer, your e-filed return will reject since the SSN has already been used (either intentionally or in error such as a mistyped SSN).

Your only recourse is to file a correct tax return, claiming what you are entitled to claim, then print and mail the return.

Are you getting the reject on your own tax return, claiming your daughter as a dependent, or are you getting it on your daughter's tax return? What is the exact reject code and message that you got? Does it say that your daughter was already claimed as a dependent, or does it say that a tax return has already been filed with your daughter's Social Security number as the taxpayer?

If you are trying to file a tax return for your daughter, could she have filed a tax return for herself, or could someone else have filed for her?
