Check your refunds i recieved all my stimulus money and there was a $600 rebate credit put on ny return anf dont know why or how now i have to wait ten weeks for my return have used turbo tax for three years calling them monday i didnt pay them to mske a mistake

TT asked you if you received the first two stimulus payments. If you answered NO to either or both, and it appears that you qualify, then it gave you a Recovery Rebate Credit for the missing amount.

$600 was the stimulus #2, which was sent out in late 2020/early 2021. The IRS is validating all of these credits against their records of those payments. They must also verify your income and dependency status to make sure you indeed qualify.

It's always, always a good idea to review your tax return before filing it.

I did not answer no to any of these i recieved both of my payments so i dont know how a $600 credit got put on their so now im waiiting 10 weeks so if i dont recieve it by April 28th have to call the IRS back no real answers
