Same situation as everyone else, representative at the IRS didn’t mention the 10 week timeline but told me I had 2 more to wait; which would be 10 from my acceptance date.

while I understand that turbo tax has no control over how long it will take for the IRS to process my return once accepted I am frustrated that it seems to have been known by tax pros before hand the processing could take 10 weeks. Yet turbo tax informed me at every step of this process that it would likely take 3 weeks. Furthermore my turbo tax homepage STILL on April 4th, 2024 is telling me that I can expect my refund by February 28th, 2024.

TurboTax receives no updates or information from the IRS after you file your tax return. TT never knows if your return goes under review or if your refund is delayed. TT gives you the "21 day" average to receive your refund---but that is not a promise or a guarantee. TT has no way to know whether a return will be pulled for review or delay or identity verification by the IRS.

Once your return has been accepted for processing by the IRS, TurboTax is done. Your only source of information is the IRS. Only the IRS can tell you how long it will be for you to get your refund. TT cannot speed them up.
