Software Update results in significant Tax Due change

First time user with TurboTax Premier. Completed tax prep and used the eFiling option a month ago. Recent software changes updated the program and now show a vastly different amount for tax owed from the original filing although I made no changes to my data. Intuit rep says IRS will sort it out. Anyone else dealing with this? Any suggestions how to get this resolved before the IRS payment next month?

did you save a copy of your PDF with all forms and worksheets when you filed?  you should go through the 1040 or other forms and compare to your filing to see what changed.

Thanks for the great tip! I did return to all the forms and found an erroneous entry (tax estimates); data I had not provided were entered since I completed the process and radically changed the tax due. I corrected/updated the form, saved it, and the balance due returned to the original figure. Thanks again for your help!!
