Question

"Save as" Tax Return

I have Turbotax on my Mac computer. I would like to save the 2023 tax file with a different name but there isn't any option for "save as". If I "save", it updates the current file. How can I make temporary changes in some of the entries and save it without overwriting the current "master file"? In that way, I can have more than 1 file on my desktop.

No, there's no "Save as" option on a Mac, but you should see "Duplicate" as an option. It will give you an option of creating a second copy of the file, which you can name differently.

Thank you. If I copy the file and rename the copied file on my desktop, also work?

    Yes, that should also work.
