I filed my return on February the 1st it was accepted on February the 12th I also had to claim the recovery rebate credit and I still have not received my return the where’s my refund app doesn’t even show the bar anymore every time I check it.. it says my refund is still processing and a refund date will be provided when available is there anyone else having this issue

Your the employee Tax expert And you dont know ? It means turbotax Screwed us by adding **bleep** into line 30 for the stimulus money . I got through to irs and Have to wait 10 weeks minimum . Will not be using turbotax for year 9. Was ok moneywise past years but not this year as hours cut got shutoff notices for utilities and now in process of Eviction . Thanks Turbotax And you can get through By phone. Anyone Wants to know exactly how Hmu.

My refund was accepted on 02/13/21 today is 03/19/21 & my refund is still processing with no refund date available it’s frustrating

You have lots of company, and the bars disappear after 21 days. The IRS is seriously backlogged due to all the extra stimulus filings, as well as a few million unprocessed 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown. In addition, the Where's My Refund site has been erratic and unreliable. But if TT told you the IRS Accepted your filing for processing, then the government has it. (Approved is a later step, but TT receives no further updates once Accepted.) Calling the IRS will not help, and the IRS has implored taxpayers not to call them. Lots of other folks are still waiting, so please continue to be patient. Also see:

I am being patient. I am not alarmed. I am disappointed with Turbotax and I want them to refund my filing fees. I will not rest until I get my refund from IRS AND Turbotax.

I so agree with you on this one. I believe that we should get our money back from Turbo Tax. I spent over $100 dollars to the, to ensure that my taxes were done correctly and supposed to be there for online and live person for customer support.

They have not lived up to that this year.

I have always used Turbo Tax and never had a problem but this year it has been a headache. My return was accepted Feb 12 as well. As of 3/23/21 I still have no information coming through letting me know when I will receive it. Next year I will be trying something new unfortunately to file my taxes.

I am having same difficulty. Taxes accepted and 32 days have gone by with no refund . Cannot get any information other than "taxes still be processed". Gave me phone number but they are not receiving calls. How in the world are we supposed to find out any info? I wonder if contact would be this difficult if I owed taxes!!!!

This is normal. It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to update and show the status. The 21 days is just an estimated time frame. The IRS began processing returns on 2/12, you may not find a record of it or the website may say that you have put in incorrect information when tracking your federal refund. As your return moves through the system, the status of it will be updated. Since Turbo Tax will not have the status of your refund, continue checking the Where’s My Federal Refund tool for updates. Updates are made daily, usually overnight.

But in pretty much everyone’s case here, our returns were processed through TurboTax and approved on 02/12 or 02/13 so it has been well over 3 weeks and we still aren’t being given a status. How can we even be sure than our return was processed through TurboTax correctly for IRS?
