You enter banking information in the last step of the FILE section--which you cannot get to unless all of your forms are ready to file.  Click on Review to see which forms you might be waiting for.  And if you file without entering any banking information, the default for your refund is a check mailed to you by the IRS.

If your tax return has a tax refund, in the File section of the program for Step 2 you are specifically asked how you want to receive the tax refund, by check or direct deposit.  If you choose direct deposit you are asked for the routing and account number.

Click on File on the left side of the program screen.  On Step 1 click on Revisit.  Follow the instructions so you can complete Step 2 and Step 3.

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
