Received a Rejection notice yesterday as  my AGI for 2019 was not correct on my 2020 return. I went back this morning and double checked and the AGI for 2019 was correctly inputted. Why am I now getting yet another rejection notice that the IRS rejected my 2020 1040 return again? The 2019 AGI is correct

Either the IRS has the incorrect 2019 AGI for you or they have not processed your 2019 tax return.  Either way try entering a 0 (zero) for the 2019 AGI and e-file again.

Same thing just happened to me.

ETA: In my case, it appears it may be related to the fact that my spouse passed away at the end of the year. I've read some recommendations to enter zero but also other answers to questions that state that you cannot e-file if your spouse passed away.

I'm just going to wait as, I guess, the IRS does not their processing until tomorrow, 2/12.

If IRS rejected your AGI your return will be rejected again and again as long as you enter that AGI value.
