I thought my parents were going to claim me but did not. How do I change my returns to claim me

the check box says: can they claim me, not will they claim me.

And they were going to claim me, but they were advised not too because I graduated in May 22 and Full time employed since July 22

In the Personal Info section. Select that and change the answer to the question about whether someone else will claim you. See the image below which will be similar in both TurboTax versions (online or desktop). This will allow you to be independent versus a dependent.
