No one has received a 2018 tax refund yet. The IRS will not start processing 2018 tax returns until January 28. It will take a few weeks after that for refunds to start going out. If you claimed the Earned Income Credit  (EIC), Additional Child Tax Credit, or refundable American Opportunity Credit the IRS is not allowed to pay the refund until after February 15, and they say it takes about a week after that for the refunds to actually be sent out.

Not true, many have received DDD dates and some have received their refunds in their bank account today. The official dates are always padded to allow for many things including errors.  After working for the Federal government for over 3 decades, I can speak with some authority on this.  For the past decade I always received my refund no later than two weeks after it being accepted, most of the time in just 10 days.  Always earlier than that DDD on WMR.
