Will the IRS still be processing the refunds through this pandemic? I need my money and its been 6 weeks since it was efiled and accepted. I know our taxes were chosen for further review for a reason i do not know, i never received a letter or anything. But will we be getting our money with everything going on? We need it. I have to amend and i cant do that until i receive my refund.

But like why is it taking so long? I have direct deposit. Ive never had it take longer than 3 weeks.

Only the IRS knows why it is taking a long time. But you said that you already knew that it was selected for review. That's why it's taking longer than 3 weeks. Since it's been so long you can call the IRS at 800-829-1040 and ask them why it's delayed and when you can expect to get your refund.
