Fake checks from Intuit! Back did not accept it

I have the wrong account account on my taxes return, Intuit couldn't deposit my check and said a check was sent via email, I received the check and deposited into my account, back denied the deposit saying it s fake. Now my account is negative. I don't know what to do now. Can anyone help me please or tell me where can I get my check. who to call or contact.

Intuit never sees your refund check. This is true even if you elected to have your fees/advance deducted from your refund. Here, the check goes to a third-party bank to be split between you and TurboTax. Your portion is then sent electronically (ACH) to the depository listed on your return. If the bank info is bad, your refund goes back to the IRS. Since 9/2025, the IRS is required by law to only do direct deposits. You should have or will receive a CP53e letter requesting corrected bank info with instructions on how to provide it. Don't have a clue who you spoke to because there is no way to send a check via e-mail. Such a check would be bogus.
