I just want to say how disappointed and heartbroken I am that my check is being mailed. After updating my DD the MOMENT the IRS placed the Get Payment function and waiting days to see a change, my check is being mailed instead of being deposited. I did have the advance and had fees taken out but I acted fast in updating my dd information. I am truly sickened and have lost so much hope over this. I wish I could get a refund for the p*ss poor service at this point. At least I wouldn't be struggling financially (money/income lost from the virus).

what date is the check being mailed?

The IRS had to create a cut off date for direct deposit vs. the first wave of checks.

I have seen numerous posts where folks are getting checks on April 24 - which is the first wave of paper payments.

There are press reports that for those that updated the website for direct deposit by April 23rd; they will receive their direct deposits by May 1,

So if you are in Wave 1 of paper checks, you are actually better off with the paper instead of the direct deposit,....and there are still 80million americans waiting on their payment! You are in good shape!
