Amending 2021 Return
Can I amend a 2021 e-filed return through e-filing OR must I send a paper copy?
Yes, you can e-file your 2021 Amended return. If you owe taxes with your amended return, you would need to send a check with the payment voucher (1040-V), or you can e-file your amended return, choose to pay by check, then when your return is e-filed, you can pay any taxes owed on the IRS website. You can also pay on your State's website if you owe State taxes.
