Amend 2021 Return for 3rd Stimulus
I answered that I had received the 3rd stimulus and I filed my 2021 return. Now I realized I did not receive so I am amending my return. I can't figure out how to do this in TurboTax (I can amend just can't fix the stimulus amount). Does anyone know how?
The IRS says this:
If you need to file an amended return – even if you don’t usually file taxes - to claim the 2021 Recovery Rebate Credit, use the worksheet in the1040SR to determine the amount of your credit. Enter the amount on the Refundable Credits section of the Form 1040-X and include "Recovery Rebate Credit" in the Explanation of Changes section.
