I admended my 2018 taxes that were accepted on jan 23 20020..

I got the noticed that my account received an adjustment on march27 2020.. I also received a letter saying my signature wasn't on the admendment..Unable to contact irs due to the virus. My taxes were completed 04/17/2020 still no word or check yet. Do I still need to take action? Also will they push my taxes thru without a signature? If so how  when should I expect to receive my check?

The letter should have told you what to do.   The IRS treats a amended return without a signature the same as never having received it at all.     Once they get the signature it will take about 4 months to process.

The letter  doesn't have instructions.. it only advised no signature .. Is there a fax number to the department that handles admendments? I read some reports that suggest they would still push the refund thru, is that correct?
