I got tax topic 151? Anyone else? Have they called irs yet to see what's going on? If so, is 151 bad? I'm freaking out. I never got this topic before and I've been filing for 5 years now on turbo tax.
What is IRS tax Topic 151?
You received a Tax Topic 151 letter from the IRS because they believe you owe the government money (offset), and they are taking some or all of your tax refund to satisfy your supposed government debt.
