1099-MISC
I filed nine 1099-MISC on January 17. On March 3, six are still processing. I need to correct one of them but I'm can't edit the form until it is accepted. What shouldd I do?
You must wait until the forms are accepted before proceeding. You have the option to contact the recipient of the form you intend to correct. Provide them with the precise information and amounts from the corrected 1099-MISC so they can file their taxes if they choose to do so.
