states I long ago left being updated

I left New York 3 years ago and have since filed Wisconsin state taxes. Turbo Tax keeps updating New York files. How can I stop that (for next year)?

Especially if you are using the Desktop version.

.....we've complained about that every year, but have not found a way to get that to stop.  NY may download into your system, but if you don't use it, you are not charted for it....mostly it's just a waste of computer disk space and download time. 

Some day the software managers at TTX will listen and get their programmers to stop allowing that annoying behavior.
