Can I claim the $500 Credit for Other Dependents if the dependent makes more than $4150.

The dependent is my son who is a full time student and was under 24 years old for all of 2018. When filling out my return a $500 credit was entered for "Credit for Other Dependents". If not eligible due to his income, I can't seem to be able to delete the credit.

Yes.

Unless he has permanently moved out of your home or paid for over 50% of his own support, his is still your dependent and would therefore you would qualify for the $500 credit.  There is no income limit for your dependent.

If he was not a full-time student (or age 24 or older), then the $4150 income limit comes into play.  But that does not sounds like it applies to your situation.
