How do I switch from turbo tax to mint and back again. When I log in with the Intuit ID it goes straight to mint, even though I wanted to go to turbo tax.

Try logging into TurboTax and Mint from different browsers. For example, Chrome for TurboTax and Firefox for Mint. You might also consider creating different logins for each site.
