Why does Its Deductible import show up under the Income section showing documents but does not show up under the deductions section forcing you to import twice?

Using Turbo Tax 2018 Deluxe. Successfully imported from Its Deductible during the income section and shows documents imported in that section but does not transfer to the deductions section. It appears I have to do it again and that allowing me to  import during the income section was poor coding if it was not going to credit to the deductions. How can anything from Its Deductible be considered Income? Why is Turbo Tax not smart enough to credit these imports to the Its Deductible item  under deductions? I have to apparently import twice when I should have never been prompted under the income section?

This does sound like a bad glitch.  Delete all of the ItsDed info that you imported under "income" and re-import it under "deductions."

Why does Its Deductible import show up under the Income section showing documents but does not show up under the deductions section forcing you to import twice?

I ended up just signing in again into Its Deductible in the deductions section and it worked. But have a new problem. Windows 10 Finished Federal (Turbotax Deluxe 2018) now wanting to start State form but cannot save the tax file anywhere on computer and so it will  not let me start the State form. Any suggestions other than losing all my data and work thus far?
