If I claim the standard deduction, am I still required to report my student loan interest?

TurboTax won't file my $0 owed federal return unless I fork over $60 (for Deluxe). It appears they are charging this because I've entered student loan interest as a deduction. Should I not report the interest so I can use TurboTax Free Edition, or does the IRS require me to report my student loan interest?

You do not have a claim the student loan interest paid.

Your only obligation is to report all of your income.
