Under "did you get any home energy credits" Turbo Tax asks for the amount of my 2016 (form 5695. line 30) and my 5695 form only has up to 16 lines. What do i do?

turbo tax refers me to IRS form 5695, line 30 and there is only 16 lines. What do I use?

In 2016, form 5695 had 30 lines -- in 2018 it only has 16.  I'm not sure why you would not have page 2. 

Page 2 of the 2016 form 5695 has the more common credits.  It includes the addition of insulation, upgraded exterior doors, energy-efficient roof, and exterior windows.  Line 30 is simply the result of filling out page 2. You can search for "2016 form 5695" to find a copy of the form.  If nothing on page 2 applies to you, the amount on line 30 would be 0.

The amount on line 30 is transferred to line 53 of the form 1040 - so you could look at your 2016 form 1040 and possibly figure it out from that.
