Is there a glitch by TurboTax e-file? I

I  e-filed my 2018 Fed return & it was accepted. 10 days later I get a letter from IRS saying I need to submit a form 5129, which is for determining my filing status or number of exemptions.  Why wasn't this info already in my e-filing?  Or was this a glitch by Turbotax?
