if TD trade transfered to me after husbands death do i count that as misc income non-taxable income if it just changed to my name but contiues to function the same in the market?
If TDAmeritrade transferred your husband's brokerage account to you due to his will, then there should be no tax reporting document issued just for the transfer of the name of the account. Any transactions that occur to the account once you own it will be reported on your ssn and name.
If you cash it out, then you will get a 1099-B tax reporting document to report on your income tax return.
