We sold a house in 2018. What do we put for "Balance on January 1, 2019 or final principal balance"? Buyer paid off loan, so 0. Do we still put the balance before payoff?

This is the full question, and since we sold the house, having the loan paid off by the buyer, I do not know how to answer it.

"How much did you owe on January 1, 2019?
We need to know the principal balance of your loan at the beginning and end of the year. If you paid off your loan this year, we need the balance before you made your final payment."
