You get to choose --- (a) file as a dual status for 2018 --- early part till March 2018 as a Non-Resident Alien filing 1040-NR and taxed ONLY on US sourced/connected income and the rest of 2018 as a 1040 filer and taxed on world income. TurboTax does not support NRA and dual status -- their partner in this is Sprint Tax or you can use a local tax professional familiar with dual status filing, OR (b) you can request to be treated as a resident for tax purposes for the whole year of 2018 and file 1040 ( supported by TurboTax).
