My siblings and I sold land this year. Where do I put the sale of land on tax form? I have substitute form for 1099S

You enter it under Investment Income > Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other. When it asks whether you got a 1099-B or brokerage statement, click No. The next screen asks the type of investment that you sold. One of the choices is Land. You do not actually enter the Form 1099-S.
