My mom is recently deceased does she still get the EIC

My mom passed on 10-09-2017 and she usually gets the Earned Income Credit. She took care of my severely handicapped brother. Can this still be filed for her?

Yes, if she qualified before she died then she still qualifies ... you will need to file a final return for her.
