You can only claim tuition expenses for yourself, your spouse, and dependents

A 27 year-old son can only be your dependent (for tax purposes) if he made less than $4050 and you provided more than 50% of his financial support.  You may need to revisit the dependent interview if this is the case.

He qualifies as a dependant per your answer but your system will not allow me to enter the 1098 T for a deduction.

I forgot to mention income limits.  That link I included is a chart of the 3 education-related benefits. Rows 3 and 4 or the income limits.  Odd that the software didn't give a reason.

Also make sure that he is being counted as a dependent.  Go to My Account (top menu) then Tools, then View Tax Summary.  The "exemption" amount should be $4050 per person (you, spouse, dependents)

Still nothing, the exemptions shown are the summary indicate he is being counted as a dependant.  So what next?

Are you filing married separate?  Is your income too high per the IRS link i sent?  This is a the forum so I can't see your return...for that you would have to contact support.  Before doing that (there are long wait times) I would look at that IRS link I sent and compare it to your entries.  Good luck, sorry I couldn't do more

I reviewed the link.  There are three different available deductions. Income limits do not apply.  I thought it may be his age but I did not see any reference that would cause an age limitation on all categories.  Is age a factor? What is the best way to get support?
