Is automobile property tax the same as ad valorem tax in AL?

AL Vehicle registration has total for sales tax, ad valorem, tag, and fee. There is not box for property tax, so is the ad valorem the property tax?

Yes, the ad valorem tax is the property tax, which is deductible.  The sales tax, tag, and fee are not deductible.
