I just received a 1099a for abandonment on foreclosure for 2015 that was not my main home. how do I claim this?

My husband co-signed on a loan for a house for his daughter and son-in-law. That house was foreclosed. Now we have received a 1099A and I don't know where to put this information.

That form does not get reported on your tax return.  You may also get a Form 1099C, which you will have to report.
