Do you still get the standard deduction if your are claimed as a dependent on your parent's return?

Yes and no.

You get A standard deduction, which may or may not be the full $6300. A dependent gets a standard deduction of $1050 or his earned income + $350 (but not more than $6300); whichever is higher. Taxable scholarships count as earned income for this test (but not for other tax benefits).
