Commonly asked TurboTax Desktop order questions

We accept credit, debit, and pre-paid cards with VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover logos. Like most stateside online merchants, we can only process cards if they have a U.S. billing address.

We're unable to take checks, money orders, or cash payments.

TurboTax Canada products can be purchased at turbotax.intuit.ca, and support is available at support.turbotax.intuit.ca.

The sales tax is determined by the zip code of the shipping (not billing) address and includes all applicable state, county, and local taxes as required by law.

In most cases, sales tax is also levied on the shipping and handling fee as well as the product price.

We'll provide an estimated delivery date when you place your order. You can also track your order on our Check Your Order Status page.

Once we ship your product (usually within 1–4 business days), we'll send you an email notification. You can also track your order at our Check Your Order Status page.

Sign in to your TurboTax account using the same user ID you used to make the purchase. Downloads can be accessed an unlimited number of times, up to 3 years after purchase.

You may be able to cancel a newly placed order before it goes into processing if you act quickly.

1. Go to the Check Your Order Status page and enter your info.
2. Select Cancel.
   • If you don't see this, then your order has already moved into the processing stage and it's too late to cancel.
