Actually I figured out what was the issue. it was TIIN tax (3.8%) added to both Short and long term bumping the bracket to 40.8% and 23.8%..

Thanks for the replies, Turns out that the SSN tax was not auto imported correctly from one of my 2 W2s.

Thanks David, may be this is the issue for a single w2 the total isn't above 132,900. but total SSN withhold for both is more than 13,000
