@1angrymama good for you! That happened to me last year! The only thing that's saving me right now is that my daughter is in college & we get tax credits for that.
My transcripts are blank and I think I have to id verify this year😩🙏🏾🙏🏾
Omg what? Y u think u gone have to id verify?
@ddenese80 hopefully not! I went through that last year! Once I found out I had to verify, I didn’t wait for a letter, I walked in to the office. I ended up being a week behind on my ddd than usual, not bad but nerve-wrecking 🙄
I pray it go away I checked my transcripts and they still blank but online it’s got we need more information for your 2024 tax return
Bc wen I look online for my transcripts it have we need more information for your 2024 tax return under my message tab

are they releasing yet for child tax? or is it still on hold.
Under the federal Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC) refunds before mid-February. Where's My Refund? should show an updated status by February 22 for most early EITC/ACTC filers.
The IRS expects most EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by March 3 if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.
Ok yall I did my taxes today lol
