Will Turbo Tax be able to help me since I purchased the Turbo Tax live premium? I filed my 2023 taxes with Turbo Tax and now need to file an addendum.

My tax return was filed as Single and should have been head of household because I had a dependent child Son but relationship says other and the box was not marked as child tax credit. Instead it was marked as credit for other dependent. Making me owe the federal government instead of me getting a refund. I didn’t catch this mistake and neither did Turbo Tax. So I paid the Federal Government &1330.00 and I should have been eligible for a refund instead.

If your return has been transmitted and accepted by the IRS, you will have to amend your Federal 1040 tax return.  

If you used TurboTax Online, log in to your account and select Amend a return that was filed and accepted.

If you used the CD/download product, sign back into your return and select Amend a filed return. 

Be sure to only make changes to the areas of your return that need amending. The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due.
