Why is Turbo Tax Deluxe asking me to check my Schedule IN-W Indiana Withholding Statements during its review? .

I am retired and have no W-2 forms. I entered my state withholding off of all of my 1099-R forms. I don't understand why I am being asked this question.

The Sch IN-W lists all of your 1099-R forms with a Form Code R. You need to review the form and answer whatever question is being asked in review. If you don't have your retirement forms listed, that could be the problem.

All of your forms with tax withheld, should be on the schedule.
